State Council: Inner Mongolia Pilot Free Trade Zone allows foreign-invested enterprises to engage in the development and application of human embryonic stem cells, gene diagnosis, and treatment technologies for product registration, market listing, and production.

The State Council issued a notice on the issuance of the Overall Plan for China (Shanghai) Pilot Free Trade Zone, pointing out the need to attract and utilize foreign investment with greater intensity. The pilot program allows foreign enterprises to engage in the development and application of human stem cells, genetic diagnosis, and treatment technology for product registration and production. It also allows foreign travel agencies registered in the pilot free trade zone to engage in outbound tourism business except for the Taiwan region.
