Guangxi: In March, a total of 30,657 cases of statutory infectious diseases were reported, with 271 deaths.
Recently, the Guangxi Disease Prevention and Control Bureau reported on the general situation of legally notifiable infectious diseases in Guangxi in March: there were no reported cases of Class A infectious diseases. There were 13,764 reported cases of Class B infectious diseases, with 271 deaths. The reported diseases include novel coronavirus infections, AIDS, viral hepatitis, measles, rabies, dengue fever, dysentery, tuberculosis, typhoid and paratyphoid fever, epidemic meningitis, whooping cough, scarlet fever, brucellosis, gonorrhea, syphilis, leptospirosis, and malaria. The top 5 reported diseases are viral hepatitis, tuberculosis, syphilis, gonorrhea, and AIDS, accounting for 98.51% of cases. There were 16,893 reported cases of Class C infectious diseases, with no deaths. The reported diseases include influenza, mumps, rubella, acute hemorrhagic conjunctivitis, leprosy, spotted fever, hand-foot-mouth disease, and other infectious diarrheal diseases. The top 3 reported diseases are influenza, other infectious diarrhea diseases, and hand-foot-mouth disease, accounting for 97.36% of cases.
