The Management Committee of Leping Industrial Park reported that at around 8:10 am on April 9, the Da Ming Chemical Factory in the park generated white smoke due to improper disposal of residual materials in the pipeline during a safety inspection. Relevant departments responded urgently and quickly disposed of the situation, with the safe disposal completed by 11 am on the same day. According to monitoring by the environmental protection department, the air quality in the surrounding areas is normal and no wastewater was produced. Relevant departments will continue to strengthen monitoring, and urge the general public not to believe or spread rumors.
