Today, the China Small and Medium Enterprise Development Promotion Center released the "2025 Small and Medium Enterprise Development Environment Assessment Report." The report selected 50 typical cities as evaluation targets, assessing indicators such as market environment, legal environment, financing environment, innovation environment, and policy environment. The results show that the overall development environment for small and medium-sized enterprises in China is improving year by year, with the development gap between cities and regions continuing to narrow, market access barriers being rapidly removed, the construction of a unified national market continuing to deepen, and regional development balance gradually improving. According to a survey, the overall satisfaction of small and medium-sized enterprises with the development environment has increased from 74.60 points in 2020 to 84.54 points in 2025. Various policies are being implemented with a focus on stabilizing employment, stabilizing enterprises, stabilizing the market, and stabilizing expectations, and the continued optimization of the small and medium enterprise development environment is evident.
