Our country's furthest offshore wind power project has started construction comprehensively.

According to China Huadian Corporation, the Six Seas Offshore Wind Farm Project on Sanshan Island, Yangjiang, was successfully completed this morning with the installation of the first wind turbine. The project has now officially commenced construction, making it the offshore wind power project with the farthest distance from the shore currently under construction in China. The project is designed to install 31 wind turbine units with a single unit capacity of 16.2 megawatts, making it the first project in China to apply 16.2 megawatt offshore wind turbine units on a large scale.
