On April 8th, during a Taobao live streaming event, the host Li Jiaqi mentioned that he may be absent from live streaming for two quarters, sparking speculation from the public. Later on the evening of April 8th, Li Jiaqi responded on Xiaohongshu (a social media platform) stating that his previous statement was a slip of the tongue and that he will be absent for two months, not two quarters. He clarified that he is not retiring.
