Deloitte's statistics show that in the first quarter of 2026, 40 new stocks were listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, raising a total of HK$109.9 billion, making it the world's number one in terms of fundraising. This is a 167% increase in the number of new stocks and a 504% increase in total funds raised compared to the same period last year. Among them, 3 super large new stocks and 8 large new stocks accounted for nearly 70% of the total fundraising in the first quarter. Additionally, the global fundraising ranking in the first quarter placed Nasdaq in second place and the New York Stock Exchange in third place.
