Panama approves First Quantum Minerals to remove stockpiled ore from closed copper mine.

The Panamanian government has officially approved Canada's First Quantum Minerals to remove and process the stockpiled ore from its closed Cobre Panama copper mine. Minister of Commerce and Industry Julio Molto stated that the government expects to release a formal resolution no later than April 8, allowing the company to extract and export the materials stored on site.
