National Service Industry Conference to be held soon, measures to promote the expansion and improvement of the service industry will be introduced.

Zheng Zhajie, director of the National Development and Reform Commission, previously stated that after the Two Sessions, a national service industry conference will be held. The National Development and Reform Commission, together with the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, and other departments, will introduce a series of measures to expand capacity and improve quality, fully tapping the potential for high-quality development of the service industry. It is estimated that during the 14th Five-Year Plan period, the scale of the service industry will exceed 100 trillion yuan. Recently, signals promoting the high-quality and efficient development of the service industry have been consistently released. The 11th plenary session of the State Council on March 16 proposed actively planning to promote the expansion of capacity and the improvement of quality in the service industry; the State Council executive meeting on March 27 proposed fully tapping the potential for the development of the service industry.
