Accumulated grid-connected installed capacity has ranked first globally for five consecutive years. The advantage of China's offshore wind power industry continues to strengthen.
Our country's offshore wind power industry is building new competitive advantages globally. The successful lifting of a 20MW offshore wind turbine has set a new record for the largest single-unit capacity of a turbine already installed in the actual marine environment worldwide; the completion of the integration assembly of the world's first 16MW floating offshore wind turbine with a rotor diameter of 252 meters...China's large-capacity offshore wind turbine units lead the world, and domestically developed replacement technologies continue to make new breakthroughs, with floating offshore wind power entering the testing and demonstration phase. In terms of scale, data released by the National Energy Administration shows that by the end of February this year, the country's wind power installed capacity reached 650 million kilowatts, a 22.8% increase year-on-year. The cumulative grid-connected capacity of offshore wind power in the country has exceeded 47 million kilowatts, ranking first globally for five consecutive years.
