A remote sensing satellite data company based in San Francisco, USA, Planet Labs announced on April 4 that it will indefinitely suspend the release of satellite images of Iran and the Middle East conflict regions at the request of the US government. Planet Labs made this decision in an email to its customers and stated that the US government has requested all satellite imagery providers to indefinitely stop providing images of this conflict zone. Last month, Planet Labs already extended the delay in image release time from the original 4 days to 14 days. Now, this restriction is a further escalation of measures aimed at preventing enemies from using these images to attack the US and its allies. (CCTV News)
