The Standing Committee of the Communist Party of Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region held an enlarged meeting to resolutely support the decision of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China to conduct disciplinary and supervisory investigations into the suspected serious violations of discipline and laws by Ma Xingrui.

The Standing Committee of the Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region Party Committee held an expanded meeting on the morning of April 4th to report that Ma Xingrui is suspected of serious violations of discipline and law, and is currently undergoing disciplinary review and supervision investigation by the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission. Comrades present unanimously expressed their firm support for the decision of the Central Party Committee and the decision of the Central Commission for Discipline Inspection and the National Supervisory Commission. Chen Xiaojiang, the Secretary of the Autonomous Region Party Committee, presided over the meeting.
