On the evening of April 3rd, Hengli Heavy Industries announced that in the first quarter of 2026, the company had signed contracts for a total of 108 new shipbuilding projects, with 14 vessels delivered, achieving the best performance in its history for the same period. Among the 108 new ship orders, the tanker segment performed particularly well, with a total of 76 vessels, including 54 large oil tankers, 18 Suezmax tankers, and 4 LR II type product tankers. In addition, Hengli Heavy Industries also achieved significant success in other types of vessels, including 12 container ships, 16 bulk carriers, and 4 refrigerated cargo ships.
