Baidu releases the first domestic doctor version "Lobster" medical AI product advancement, the new level has more than just computing power.
On April 2nd, Baidu Health held an AI new product launch event, introducing the AI professional intelligent assistant "Have Doctor Assistant" targeted towards the doctor community. Just under 4 months ago, the company had released the AI creation platform "Dr.Flow" aimed at health professionals. However, the rapid iteration of AI technology has led to the emergence of a new industry trend, with "task-based AI" such as OpenClaw gaining momentum. Baidu Health wants to seize the opportunity ahead of time. According to reports, Have Doctor Assistant is the first domestic doctor task-based AI assistant created based on the Claw framework. Unlike general AI assistants, it utilizes a "search + task" dual-engine mode, capable of both conventional "single conversation" and automatically "task execution". However, advanced product features do not necessarily equate to industry advancement. In fact, medical AI products in the market still face multiple challenges such as technological compatibility, data interoperability, and safety control. The entire industry is in the stage of value validation, still a considerable distance away from commercial realization.
