Broadcom appoints Alphabet executive as company's CFO.

On April 2nd local time, Broadcom announced the appointment of Amy Tuna as the company's Chief Financial Officer, effective June 12th. The current CFO, Spears, is set to retire. Spears will continue in his position until the mentioned date and then serve as a consultant for the following nine months to ensure a smooth transition of responsibilities. Tuna previously worked at Alphabet, where she served as Vice President, Chief Financial Officer, and Chief Accountant since 2018. Prior to joining Alphabet, Tuna worked at PricewaterhouseCoopers as Managing Director of the Transaction and Accounting Advisory Services department.
