Listed banks distribute generous dividends, highlighting the long-term investment value of high dividend yields.
As of April 2, a total of 22 A-share listed banks have disclosed their profit distribution plans for 2025, with the six largest banks in China planning to distribute a total dividend amount exceeding 420 billion yuan for the full year. As for joint-stock banks, China Merchants Bank takes the lead, with a planned total dividend amount of 25.296 billion yuan by the end of 2025, and a total dividend amount exceeding 50 billion yuan for the full year. China CITIC Bank and Industrial Bank are both planning to distribute dividends exceeding 20 billion yuan for the full year, with planned end-of-year dividend amounts of 10.740 billion yuan and 10.603 billion yuan respectively. Among city commercial banks, in terms of banks that have currently published dividend plans, apart from Zhengzhou Bank explicitly stating that it will not distribute dividends, other banks show a high degree of enthusiasm for dividend distribution.
