Cooperation breakdown! XPeng Motors' Australian distributor enters into administration, official response: deeply disappointed, will personally intervene to establish a sales network.
Recently, according to media reports, Xiaopeng Motors' dealer in Australia has entered into administration. According to a document submitted to the Australian Securities and Investment Commission, an external administrator has taken over Xiaopeng Motors' Australian dealer TrueEV. However, Xiaopeng Motors has not confirmed whether its new direct business in Australia will run parallel to TrueEV, and neither company has commented on this. In response to this, Xiaopeng Motors expressed disappointment in its cooperation with TrueEV. "After only two years of cooperation, the other party's funding chain broke, was taken over by investors, did not purchase vehicles for more than a year, and even refused to fulfill orders for 454 vehicles." Xiaopeng Motors stated that TrueEV has also had public conflicts with local dealers, and the company believes that the trust between the two parties has been completely shattered. Continuing in this situation will only hinder Xiaopeng Motors' development in Australia and harm the interests of customers and partners.
