It is a core infrastructure of the Tehran-Karaj transportation corridor and was scheduled to officially open soon. The attack caused damage to the main structure of the bridge, with the relevant sections now fully closed. The local government issued an emergency warning, urging people to avoid the area. The attack also led to power outages in some areas of Karaj, and the power company has dispatched repair crews to the scene to repair the damage.
