The expert group of the Green Finance Professional Committee of the China Financial Association recently released a list of Chinese green bonds labeled according to the China-Europe Sustainable Finance Joint Taxonomy. The latest data shows that as of February 28, 2026, there are 532 green bonds in the interbank market that comply with this taxonomy, of which 310 are still in existence, accounting for 25.7% of the total existing green bonds in the interbank market. The total size of the existing green bonds is 352.049 billion yuan, accounting for 16.9% of the total existing green bonds in the interbank market. Analysts point out that the joint taxonomy continues to promote standardization and interoperability in the green finance market, helping to improve the efficiency of cross-border green capital flows. The labeling work of green bonds in the interbank market under the taxonomy framework is constantly deepening, and the scale of existing bonds is steadily expanding, reflecting the increasingly perfect construction of China's green finance system and the continuous strengthening of support for the green industry.
