Hengqin Port broke records for passenger and vehicle traffic in the first quarter.

According to the data statistics of the Hengqin border checkpoint of the Zhuhai Border Inspection General Station, in the first quarter of 2026, the total number of entries and exits at the Hengqin port exceeded 9.22 million person-times, and the number of entry and exit vehicles exceeded 1.08 million times, an increase of 31.7% and 46.5% respectively compared to the same period last year. Both passenger flow and vehicle flow have reached historical highs in the same period, demonstrating the strong momentum of deep integration between Hengqin and Macao.
