April 2nd: The "Farm Product Wholesale Price Index" has decreased by 0.12 points compared to yesterday.

According to monitoring by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on April 2, the "agricultural product wholesale price 200 index" was 119.15, a decrease of 0.12 points from yesterday, and the "basket of vegetables" product wholesale price index was 120.26, a decrease of 0.14 points from yesterday. As of 14:00 today, the average price of pork in the national agricultural product wholesale market was 15.44 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.7% from yesterday; beef was 66.42 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday; mutton was 64.87 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.2% from yesterday; eggs were 7.80 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.6% from yesterday; and white-feathered chickens were 17.50 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.7% from yesterday. The average price of the 28 vegetables monitored was 4.60 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.4% from yesterday; and the average price of the 6 fruits monitored was 7.65 yuan/kg, a decrease of 0.5% from yesterday. Crucian carp was 19.72 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.3% from yesterday; carp was 14.63 yuan/kg, an increase of 1.7% from yesterday; white crucian carp was 10.52 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.3% from yesterday; and largehead hairtail was 40.73 yuan/kg, an increase of 0.3% from yesterday. Today, among the 46 varieties of fresh agricultural products monitored in the domestic wholesale market, the top five in terms of price increase compared to yesterday are asparagus lettuce, white radish, scallion, lotus root, and white-feathered chicken, with increases of 5.5%, 3.2%, 2.2%, 2.1%, and 1.7% respectively; the top 5 in terms of price decrease are watermelon, pineapple, zucchini, cucumber, and garlic sprouts, with decreases of 1.8%, 1.7%, 1.2%, 1.2%, and 1.1% respectively.
