Alibaba releases unified model for image generation and editing, Wan2.7-Image.

On April 1st, Alibaba released the unified model for image generation and editing Wan2.7-Image. This model has the ability to generate images from text, create image compositions, edit images based on instructions, and interactively edit images along the entire process. In blind tests of human preferences, the "image from text" capability surpassed GPT-Image1.5 and mainstream domestic models, approaching the level of Nano Banana Pro in text rendering, photo-level imaging, and global knowledge indicators.
