Huaqiangbei's memory module prices have been reduced by up to $500, but sellers still anticipate an increase.

Today I visited the largest electronic product distribution center in China, Huaqiangbei, Shenzhen. I found that the spot market price of memory modules has indeed declined compared to the temporary high point of last week, with a decrease ranging from 100 yuan to 500 yuan. However, many merchants have pointed out that the recent price drop is actually just a minor adjustment compared to the significant increase earlier. The current spot price is still far from returning to the normal level. Some merchants even mentioned that their stores do not have memory modules in stock currently. They also stated that the prices are still expected to rise this year, so if there is a need for installation, it would be a good time to buy after the slight price adjustment.
