Liu Haixing meets with senior officials of the Liberation Tigers of Tamil Eelam from Sri Lanka.

On March 31st, Liu Haixing, Minister of the International Department of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, met in Beijing with a senior delegation led by Samarasinha, a central committee member of the People's Liberation Front of Sri Lanka and Minister of the Department of Government Trade, Commerce, Food Security and Cooperation Development. They exchanged views on implementing the consensus of the two countries' leaders, promoting closer inter-party exchanges, and advancing China-Sri Lanka relations.
