Middle East conflict impacts helium supply, South Korea says its inventory can last until June.

Iran attacked Qatar's largest liquefied natural gas facility last week, causing damage to its helium production line, and reconstruction may take several years. With Qatar Energy Company announcing force majeure to customers, the price of helium has significantly increased. According to a source from a company supplying helium to Samsung, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix currently have helium inventory of about 4 to 6 months. A South Korean government official stated that as a location for some of the world's largest chip manufacturers, South Korea currently has enough helium inventory to last through the first half of the year.
