Apple recently removed an ambient programming application from the App Store, citing a violation of the store's rules. This move signifies an escalation in their crackdown on this type of application. The co-founder and CEO of the startup company that developed the app, called Anything, Drew Ahlman, stated that Apple completely removed the app from the App Store last Thursday. Just a week ago, it was reported that Apple had banned updates for such ambient programming apps, but allowed older versions to remain in the store. These apps use AI to allow ordinary users without programming experience to independently create applications.
