The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) states that Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing is recalling certain vehicles in the United States because they failed to properly detect that the occupants inside the vehicle may cause the safety airbags to incorrect deploy during a collision, increasing the risk of injury to the occupants.
