The second phase of the drainage tunnel project in the San'ao Nuclear Power Project in Zhejiang Province has entered the main excavation phase.

Sina Finance News on March 31st, reporter learned from China Railway 16th Bureau Group on the same day that with the successful launch of the "Canghe 1" shield tunneling machine, the second phase drainage tunnel project of the Zhejiang San'ao Nuclear Power Project of China General Nuclear Power Group has officially entered the main excavation stage. The San'ao Nuclear Power Project in Zhejiang is located in Xiaguan Town, Cangnan County, Wenzhou City, it is a key national energy project and also the first privately-owned capital participating nuclear power project in the country. It is planned to build 6 "Huolong One" nuclear power units with a total investment of 120 billion yuan, to be constructed in three phases. The second phase drainage tunnel project is a key ancillary project for the two units of the second phase, mainly constructing facilities such as siphon wells and shield tunnels. After completion, it will be responsible for the safe transportation and natural heat exchange of circulating cooling water for the nuclear power plant, providing solid guarantee for the safe and stable operation of the nuclear power units.
