Ministry of Commerce: UK initiates anti-absorption investigation into excavator imports from China.

Sina Finance reported on March 31st that, according to the Ministry of Commerce, on March 30th, 2026, the Trade Remedies Authority of the United Kingdom issued a notice announcing that it will initiate a sunset review investigation on the anti-dumping measures applicable to imported excavators from China, in order to determine whether to maintain or adjust the current anti-dumping duty rates. In December 2024, after an investigation, the United Kingdom's Trade Remedies Authority decided to impose provisional anti-dumping measures on Chinese excavators, and in May 2025, a final ruling was made to impose anti-dumping duties ranging from 18.81% to 40.08%.
