Sina Finance reported on March 31st that South Korean government officials said that if international crude oil prices continue to rise, South Korea is likely to further raise its resource security crisis alert level and expand the vehicle restriction measures to private vehicles. South Korea's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Strategy and Finance Joo Hyun-cheol said on a radio show on the 29th that if international crude oil prices continue to rise and reach $120 to $130 per barrel, the government is likely to raise the resource security crisis alert level to level three.
