The US Embassy in Venezuela has officially resumed operations.

Sina Finance reported on March 31st that the US State Department issued a statement on the 30th, stating that the US Embassy in Caracas, the capital of Venezuela, officially resumed operations that day. The statement indicated that the resumption of operations of the US Embassy signifies a new phase in American diplomatic presence in Venezuela. The statement also mentioned that the US diplomatic team in Venezuela is refurbishing the embassy buildings in order to arrange for the return of all personnel and resume consular services as soon as possible.
