Total Energy has completed the merger of its upstream oil and gas business in the UK with NEO NEXT, establishing a new company called NEO NEXT+. Total Energy will hold a 47.5% stake in the merged entity. This transaction makes NEO NEXT+ the largest independent oil and gas producer on the UK continental shelf, with an expected daily production exceeding 250,000 barrels of oil equivalent by 2026.
