Yunnan Germanium Industry: A subsidiary company holds the technology to use germanium tetrachloride for producing prefabricated optical fiber rods.

Sina Finance reported on March 30th that Yunnan Germanium Industry stated on the interactive platform that at present, existing customers have not provided feedback to the company on using the company's indium phosphide products for optical fiber production. The germanium tetrachloride for optical fibers produced by the company's controlling subsidiary, Wuhan Yuncrystal Optical Fiber Material Co., Ltd., can be used for the production of optical fiber preforms.
