Reporters learned from the China Railway Guangzhou Group that around 3 pm on March 29, due to the impact of strong rainfall and tornadoes, there was a fault in the catenary system between Guangzhou South and Foshan West stations on the Nan-Guang high-speed railway and Gui-Guang high-speed railway, and between Foshan and Liwan on the Guang-Zhan high-speed railway. As a result, some trains experienced varying degrees of delays. The railway department promptly activated the emergency response plan and carried out emergency repairs.
