Expand the entire chain of automobile consumption - from "owning a car" to "making good use of a car"
In 2025, China's automobile industry delivered an impressive report card, with cars continuing to play a crucial role in the consumer market. With a solid foundation in the super-large-scale market, a long consumption chain in the automobile industry, and continuous policy support, there is great potential for expanding automobile consumption throughout the entire chain. According to data from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, in 2025, sales of new energy vehicles in China exceeded 16 million units, with domestic new car sales accounting for over 50%, becoming the core engine driving automobile consumption. Sheng Qiuping, Deputy Minister of Commerce, recently stated that in 2026, the Ministry of Commerce will work with relevant departments to optimize the implementation of the automobile trade-in program, launch pilot reforms in automobile circulation consumption, improve industry management systems, and take multiple measures to promote the improvement and expansion of automobile consumption. Currently, China has been the world's largest producer and seller of automobiles for 17 consecutive years, with a total of 366 million vehicles in circulation. Behind this massive market base, consumer demand has shifted from "owning a car" to "using a car well," with an increasing emphasis on individuality, quality, and service. The automotive aftermarket has become a "new blue ocean" for tapping consumer potential.
