Yunnan issues a three-year action plan for the high-quality development of the electricity market.

According to the Yunnan Provincial Energy Bureau, on March 26, the Yunnan Supervision Office of the National Energy Administration, the Yunnan Development and Reform Commission, and the Yunnan Energy Bureau jointly issued the "Three-Year Action Plan for High-Quality Development of Yunnan Power Market." This plan closely follows the requirements for deepening the reform of the power system, fully serving the construction of the national unified electricity market system, and strengthening construction coordination in five key areas of "market architecture, market mechanisms, pricing systems, operational systems, and governance systems" through systematic and innovative mechanism design. With a focus on "new, green, integrated, and leading", the plan proactively defines the emblematic achievements of the three-year action from four dimensions of "innovative, progressive, research-oriented, and exploratory", providing solid support for Yunnan's transformation from a province with abundant resources to a strong province in the market, and from a clean energy base to an international regional green energy hub. This plan aims to effectively serve the national energy strategy and "dual carbon" goals, and promote high-quality integrated development of the regional economy.
