The German Federal Government recently passed the "2026 Climate Protection Plan", which will allocate an additional 8 billion euros in funding over the next 4 years to expand wind power installations, increase subsidies for new energy vehicles, and other measures to help achieve the emissions reduction target for 2030. The German Ministry for the Environment stated that these measures could reduce an additional 25 million tons of CO2 emissions by 2030, as well as reduce nearly 7 billion cubic meters of natural gas consumption and around 4 billion liters of gasoline consumption.
