Japan launches orange juice without orange ingredients.

Japanese food and beverage manufacturer Kagomi has introduced a new orange-flavored juice called "Beyond", but in reality it does not use oranges in its production and is priced at around 140 yen. In recent years, due to poor harvests in major production countries such as Brazil, along with the weakening of the Japanese yen, the price of oranges in Japan has significantly increased, with Japan relying heavily on imports. According to trade data, the import price of orange juice is expected to be around 980 yen per liter in 2025, nearly four times the price in 2020.
