Burkina Faso's Transitional Legislative Council renamed the People's Legislative Council

On March 27, local time, members of the transitional legislative parliament in Burkina Faso convened a plenary session in the capital Ouagadougou and unanimously passed the "People's Progressive Revolution Charter". This move marks the revision of the "Transitional Charter" passed in 2024 to the "Revolution Charter". At the same time, the transitional legislative parliament was renamed the People's Legislative Parliament, eliminating the political party component of the legislative body and reallocating relevant seats.
