The 10-year German bond yield rose by more than 5 basis points this week.

At the end of the European market on Friday, the yield of the German 10-year government bond rose by 2.1 basis points to 3.094%, with a cumulative increase of 5.1 basis points for the week, trading overall in the range of 2.943%-3.129%. After hitting a new intraday low on March 25th, U.S. stocks continued to rise before the market opened. The yield of the 2-year German bond fell by 4.0 basis points to 2.674%, with a weekly increase of 0.2 basis points, trading overall in the range of 2.506%-2.770%; the yield of the 30-year German bond rose by 4.1 basis points to 3.552%, with a weekly increase of 2.4 basis points. The 2/10-year German bond yield spread increased by 6.107 basis points to +41.445 basis points, with a weekly increase of 4.837 basis points.
