The Pinglu Canal's Nanning section has achieved full waterway connectivity.

On March 27th, the construction of the Pinglu Canal waterway project made significant progress, with the Nanning section successfully achieving full waterway access, laying a solid foundation for the project to be completed on schedule in 2026. The Nanning section of the Pinglu Canal is the starting point of the main canal project, located within the jurisdiction of Hengzhou City, Nanning, Guangxi. It starts at the mouth of Pingtang River, runs south along Shaping River to the south of Xinfu Town, with a total length of 19.7 kilometers.
