COSCO Shipping responds to the false news that two container ships crossed the Strait of Hormuz.

On March 27th, there were reports that two 20,000 TEU container ships, "COSCO Indian Ocean" and "COSCO Arctic Ocean", under the China COSCO Shipping Corporation were beginning to cross the Strait and return home while stranded in the Persian Gulf on the west side of the Strait of Hormuz. A spokesperson for China COSCO Shipping Corporation stated to reporters that the above news is false and should not be believed. Upon checking ShipView, it was found that the two ships are still in the Gulf.
