The basic pension insurance contribution standard for Beijing residents in 2026 is determined to be between 1000-9000 yuan.

On March 27, the Beijing Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau announced the premium payment standards for the basic pension insurance for urban and rural residents in 2026. The minimum standard is an annual payment of 1000 yuan, and the maximum standard is an annual payment of 9000 yuan. Eligible insured persons can also enjoy payment subsidies on an annual basis. Residents with household registration in the city can choose their own payment amounts within this range and complete the insurance payment procedures from April 1 to December 10, 2026.
