The Tokyo stock market fell in morning trading on Friday, with the Nikkei 225 index dropping by more than 2% at one point. At the same time, uncertainty over whether negotiations on the Middle East conflict can reach an agreement caused a rise in crude oil prices, which in turn affected the performance of the stock market. Nomura Securities strategist Mark Savada said, "Given the high uncertainty of the current situation in Iran, we expect the market to adjust before the weekend."
