The China Federation of Logistics and Purchasing announced today the logistics operation data for the first two months of this year. The data shows that China's logistics operation has achieved a good start, with steady growth in social logistics demand. In the first two months of this year, the total social logistics amount in China was 58.6 trillion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.7% in comparable prices. The growth rate is 1.6 and 1.4 percentage points higher than the annual and same period of the previous year, respectively, indicating a more noticeable rebound. In terms of structure, domestic production and consumption as well as international import logistics demand have improved simultaneously, with increased demand in various fields compared to the same period of the previous year. In the first two months, the total logistics amount for industrial products increased by 6.3% year-on-year. Among them, more than 80% of the industrial sub-industries saw growth, with high-end equipment manufacturing sectors such as computers, communications and other electronic equipment manufacturing, railways, ships, aviation and aerospace all experiencing growth rates of over 10%.
