The UK will pilot restrictions on teenagers using social media.
The British government announced on the 25th that it will pilot measures to restrict teenagers' use of social media. Approximately 300 teenagers aged 13 to 17 will participate in a six-week experiment. They will be divided into different groups, each experiencing measures such as completely banning the use of social media, prohibiting the use of social media from 9 pm to 7 am the next day, or allowing only 1 hour of social media use per day. At the same time, a control group will be established, in which teenagers can use social media without any restrictions. The pilot will focus on observing the impact of the measures on teenagers' sleep quality, academic performance, and family relationships.
