Meta currently plans to invest $10 billion in its AI data center in El Paso, Texas, far exceeding the previous commitment of $1.5 billion. The goal of this data center is to achieve a power capacity of 1 gigawatt by 2028. Meta is increasing its investment in AI infrastructure. In January of this year, the company told Wall Street that its annual capital expenditures will reach up to $135 billion.
