Canadian Foreign Minister Anand announced that Canada has imposed sanctions on five individuals and four entities from Iran. These sanctions target Iranian businessmen and companies directly involved in the production and supply of advanced technology procurement networks, as well as those supporting Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps in weapon production and transfer. The statement claims that Iran's transfer of weapons, drones, and technology to its proxies, including Russia, has escalated armed conflicts, threatened the sovereignty of other countries, and violated international norms. It is reported that Canada has currently imposed sanctions on 227 Iranian individuals and 260 Iranian entities.
