On March 26, JD Supermarket officially released the "Pet Companion Animal Trading Service Guide" at the largest pet breeding base in Anshan, marking the implementation of the first national Internet pet dog and cat trading standard. Leaders of the Anshan Municipal People's Government in Liaoning Province, the People's Government of Suzhou City in Anhui Province, and relevant leaders of Beijing Paidu Technology Co., Ltd. and businessmen attended the event. The standard references multiple national standards, covering the entire chain of e-commerce platform sales services, providing operational guidelines for service providers in pre-sale, during sale, and after-sale services, and creating a pet dog and cat trading ecosystem of "compliance, traceability, quality control, and service assurance." Specifically, the standard sets the threshold for merchant access, requiring that the operator must be a legal entity who has obtained a business license in accordance with the law, the operating scope meets the requirements, and a commitment letter is signed to ensure that the operating entities entering the JD platform are all legitimate enterprises, ensuring the rights and interests of consumers from the source.
