The Ministry of Commerce releases information on the implementation of beef security measures for the year 2026.

According to Announcement No. 87 of the Ministry of Commerce, as of March 25, 2026, the imported beef from Australia has reached 50% of the specified quantity in Annex 2 of the announcement for the year. Starting from the 3rd day after the imported beef reaches the specified quantity for the year in Annex 2 of the announcement, an additional 55% tariff will be imposed on the existing applicable tariff rate.
